How CourseChat works

CourseChat lets educators and course creators (“Providers”) upload their own course material to power a private AI tutor for their enrolled students. Content is only accessible to the Provider who uploaded it and their students — there is no public library, and no content is shared between Providers.

Provider responsibility

Providers represent that they own, or have the rights to distribute, all material they upload. Uploading someone else's copyrighted work without permission violates our Terms of Service and may result in content removal and account termination.

For content owners

If you are a copyright holder and believe material accessible through CourseChat infringes your rights, contact us with:

1. A description of the copyrighted work you believe is being infringed
2. The specific content or tutor (e.g. the provider subdomain) you believe is infringing
3. Your contact information (name, email, phone number)
4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner
5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate

We review all legitimate notices and respond within 10 business days. Where appropriate, we will remove or disable access to the identified content and notify the Provider. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.
